Perfect for families, Walkabout Creek Discovery Centre is located on the edge of D’Aguilar National Park and is a great place to encounter native animals or enjoy a walk, bike ride or swim.

Activities and features on offer:

• Visitor Centre: Includes informative displays and knowledgeable park rangers will help you discover more about Queensland’s National Parks.
• Wildlife Centre: Discover some of the weird and wonderful wildlife that inhabits Queensland’s national parks. Explore on your own or join our park rangers at the daily feeding sessions (ask for times in the Visitor Centre).
• Wildlife Discovery Show: Get up close with some of the parks animals and learn about their life, unique features and role they play within the wild. The Wildlife Discovery Show is a ranger-led presentation held every Saturday and Sunday at 10.00am and 1.30pm (Your ticket purchase also includes same-day admission into our Wildlife Centre, check website for ticket details).
• Café, function centre and venue hire: Stop by the Walkabout Creek Café for a coffee, drink or snack. For conferences, functions and weddings contact the Walkabout Creek Conference and Wedding Centre for more information.
